CHARLESTON, S.C. - Charleston Southern continues Big South Conference play this weekend on the road as the Buccaneers travel to Liberty and Radford on Friday and Saturday. CSU takes on Liberty inside the Vines Center on Friday night at 7 p.m., while the Bucs close out the weekend at Radford on Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. inside the Dedmon Center.

Liberty enters the Friday night match with a 9-9 overall record, 4-1 in Big South play on the season. The Flames have a perfect 6-0 record at the Vines Center on the season and enters the weekend coming off of their first Big South loss of the season, falling 3-1 at High Point. The Flames have picked up home Big South wins over Gardner-Webb and UNC Asheville on the year.
For the season, Caroline Douglas leads the Flames with 2.87 kills per set, while three other Flames are averaging multiple kills on the year. Jade Vorster is the team's hitting leader with a .378 hiting percentage, while Anna Willey sets up the offense with 9.62 assists per set. Defensively, Margaret Latchford is the team leader with 4.62 digs per set. At the net, Vorster is the team leader with 0.89 blocks per set.
Radford also enters the weekend with a 9-9 overall record as the HIghlanders host Coastal Carolina on Friday night inside the Dedmon Center. Radford has posted a 2-3 Big South record on the season. The Highlanders are 4-2 overall at home on the year, falling to both Liberty and UNC Asheville in their home matches on the season.
The Highlanders have been paced on the year by Maddie Palmer's 4.32 kills per set, while Megan Short is averaging 3.08 kills per set on the year. Short is the team leader with a .371 hitting percentage on the season. Haley Kleespies is the team leader in setting up the offense at 10.76 assists per set. Defensively, Kelby Jackson is digs leader with 3.83 digs per set. At the net, Short leads the way with 0.70 blocks per set.
Last Season Against Liberty
Charleston Southern fell in their lone match against the Flames last season, dropping a 3-1 decision in the Buc Dome on October 17th. Siraya Windsor recorded her 10th double-double of the season in the loss with 12 kills and 18 digs, while Meredith Parrott and Katrina Houston had 14 kills apiece for the Bucs.
Last Season Against Radford
The Bucs fell in their lone matchup against the Highlanders in the 2014 season, dropping a 3-1 decision at home on October 18th against Radford. Siraya Windsor recorded her 11th double-double of the season and third this week with 17 kills and 16 digs, while Meredith Parrott had 15 kills and five blocks in the loss as CSU hit .225 as a team from the floor. Katrina Houston added nine kills and a team-high six blocks in the loss, while Cassidy Greer had 43 assists and seven digs for the Bucs.
