Windsor named to Wingate Invitational All-Tournament team

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Charleston Southern's Siraya Windsor was selected to the 2014 Wingate Invitational at CSU All-Tournament team after a tournament run that saw the CSU junior post two double-doubles and lead the Bucs to victories over S.C. State and N.C. Central.

The junior from Lexington, S.C. led the Bucs on the weekend 3.71 kills per set and was second on the team with 3.21 digs to pace CSU's efforts on both ends of the floor.

Windsor posted her two best matches of the week on Saturday, finishing with a match-high 19 kills and 13 digs in the Bucs four set win over N.C. Central. She added 17 kills and 17 digs in the nightcap as the Bucs fell to USC Upstate.

Jacksonville's Sammie Strausbaugh was named the Wingate Invitational at CSU MVP. She was joined on the team by fellow JU teammate Emily Laskelle, USC Upstate's Kayla McAvoy and Shannon Weiss, S.C. State's Tyler Ockleberry and N.C. Central's Kelly Rossip.
