CHARLESTON, S.C. : The Lady Bucs will welcome conference foe Presbyterian College to the Buc Dome Oct. 28 at 7 p.m.
CSU (5-20, 1-8 Big South Conference) is coming off their most impressive win of the season defeating Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference power South Carolina State in Orangeburg, S.C. on Oct 25. Wynter Davis led the Buccaneer kills count for the third consecutive game; notching 13 against the Lady Bulldogs. Amy Nokes fell just short of recording her fourth straight double-double, but was still impressive with 18 assists and seven digs. In the past five games, Nokes has totaled 95 assists and 45 digs. CSU has faced PC once already in Clinton, S.C., the Blue Hose handed the Lady Bucs a three-set loss. Amy Nokes recorded a double-double in the loss with 12 kills and 10 assists. In a defeat of Presbyterian College last season, Nokes dished out 36 assists and had five digs. In that same game, Kayla Klinger had 10 kills and nine digs. CSU went 1-1 verse PC last season.
Presbyterian College (9-16, 3-6 BSC) comes into this match after defeating USC Upstate on Oct. 25. In that match, Caroline Cann recorded a career best 17 kills, Mary Trimpe had 22 digs and Ashtin Frank dished out 52 assists. In a three-set victory over CSU on Sep. 24 in Clinton, S.C., Presley Mabrey had 13 kills while Ashtin Frank gave out 40 assists.
