CSU Looks To Get First BSC Win Against Presbyterian

CLINTON S.C.: The Lady Bucs will head to Clinton, S.C. to take on Presbyterian College on Sep. 24.

CSU is coming off a four set loss to Winthrop on Sep. 23. In that match Ashley Higginbothem had 22 digs to extend her streak of games with 10+ digs to 11. For the year, Higginbothem has 250 digs, averaging 4.31 per set. She also leads the way with 14 service aces. Sydney Tracy is having an outstanding all-around season; she leads the Lady Bucs in blocks (55) and kills (132). Amy Nokes is doing an admirable job of pacing CSU; she has 280 assists (5.19 per set). CSU split the two games against Presbyterian last season.

PRESBYTERIAN (4-10) picked up their first Big South Conference with a defeat of Coastal Carolina. Presley Mabrey leads the Blue Hose with 185 kills, averaging 3.43 per set. Ashtin Frank has totaled 533 assists on the season, averaging 9.87 per set. Mary Trimpe has 189 digs, while Kelly Berryman leads the team with 45 blocks.

The Blue Hose are 1-3 at home, CSU is 1-5 on the road.
