TRACK PREVIEW: Bucs host CSU Tune-Up on Wednesday to close out regular season

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Charleston Southern Track and Field closes out its final meet prior to next week's Big South Outdoor Championships on Wednesday as the Buccaneers host the CSU Tune-Up at the Bagwell-Settle Track Complex.

Schedule of Events - CSU Tune-Up

Events will run throughout the day starting with the women's javelin, men's hammer, men's shot put, and men's discus at 9 a.m. The long jump and triple jump events will start at 10 a.m., while the high jump is slated to begin at 11 a.m.

Running events will start on the track at 12:45 p.m. and will carry on throughout the afternoon. The final events of the day will be the men's and women's 4x400m relay events scheduled to start at 2:50 and 2:55 p.m.

It marks the second consecutive year the Bucs have hosted this pre-conference meet. The Bucs rode the momentum in the meet last season to finishing fourth overall in both the men's and women's outdoor championships last season in Charleston, S.C.

CSU looks to continue their strong spring as the Bucs gear up for the conference championships running from May 9-11 in High Point, N.C. at Vert Stadium.

The Bucs are well represented in the top 10 in the conference standings in multiple events heading into the final meet of the regular season. CSU will look to improve their marks in preparation for next week's conference championships.
