CHARLESTON, S.C. - Charleston Southern continues the indoor season this weekend at the Tiger Tune-up as the Buccaneers begin their final preparations for next weekend's Big South Indoor Track and Field Championships. CSU takes on the field for the one-day event on Friday, February 17.

The Bucs' men's side was led this past weekend at the Liberty Elite Invitational by a pair of freshmen with Frankie Thomas and Vincent Johnson both finishing on the podium in the high jump and the 60-meter hurdles.

Thomas took the individual title in the high jump with a height of 1.98m to stand on top of the podium for the first time in the 2017 season. Johnson added a third place result in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.23, the second-fastest time in the event in the CSU indoor record books.

On the women's side, TeJyrica Robinson won the individual 60-meter hurdles title to lead the Buccaneers at the Liberty Elite Invitational. Robinson recorded the second and fourth-fastest times in the event on her way to standing atop the podium at the Liberty Indoor Track Complex.
