WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Charleston Southern's 4x400-meter relay team recorded a top-three finish to pace the Buccaneers on the final day of the Camel City Invitational as CSU took on the field at the JDL Fast Track.
The Buccaneers' quartet of Kolisha Coleman, Danielle Burnett, Aluntrea Davis, and Jasmine Pilgrim placed third overall in the women's 4x400m relay on the afternoon with a time of 4:01.42. The Bucs finished behind champion Charlotte (3:52.02) and North Carolina (3:56.39) to finish on the podium in the event.
Coleman paced the Buccaneers in the women's 200m dash on Saturday finishing 10th overall with a time of 25.57. Pilgrim crossed the line five spots back with a time of 25.76, while Davis finished 25th overall with a time of 26.28.
Pilgrim paced the Bucs in the preliminaries of the 60m dash finishing 15th overall in the field with a time of 7.80. Davis finished 22nd overall in the event with a time of 7.94.
TeJyrica Robinson led the Bucs in the 60m hurdle preliminaries placing ninth overall with a time of 8.72. Caroline Edmonson finished 21st overall among the field with a time of 9.40.
Victoria Gibson and Anaia Hood finished back-to-back in the triple jump event on Saturday morning. Gibson placed 12th overall in the field with a length of 10.94m, while Hood finished one back with a distance of 10.86m.
Alexus Foreman recorded a top-10 finish in the shot put with a distance of 12.35m on the day. Brianna Sims finished 17th overall with a distance of 11.44m.
Charleston Southern is back in action next weekend at the Liberty Elite Invitational hosted by Liberty University on February 10-11.
