BEAUFORT, S.C. - The Charleston Southern women's soccer team posted a 7-0 win over USC Beaufort in the first of two preseason season scrimmages on Tuesday.
Kifer added an assist along with seniors Peyton Motley, Sidney Doherty, Emilie Gilbert and Taylor Francis. All 26 healthy players on the roster saw action in the scrimmage, which was broken up into three 40-minute periods.
CSU plays its final scrimmage on Saturday when the Bucs face Miami (Fla.) at Embry-Riddle University's field in Daytona Beach. The Bucs open the regular season at Wofford on August 19 and play their first home game on August 26 against Mercer.
