Buccaneers wrap up UNF Collegiate on Tuesday afternoon

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Charleston Southern wrapped up the final round of the UNF Collegiate at the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club on Tuesday afternoon. The Buccaneers finished 15th overall in the field after turning in a final round 312.

Ellen Hume finished with the low-round 70 to place in the top 10 in the event. Andriel Aimua added a top-12 finish in the Bucs' second event of the spring.

The Buccaneers finished the tournament with a total score of 916, 52-over par for the event. The Bucs' second-round 299 highlighted CSU's efforts over the two-day event.

Hume powered her way back into the field as the freshman overcame a first round 77 to finish tied for 10th overall in the field. The London, England native finished two-under par in the final round with birdies on 18, 1, 2, and 7 in her final round of the week.

Aimua was tied for 12th after a difficult round that featured four birdies, five bogies, and a double-bogey. The senior's 75 put her one stroke back of Hume in the standings.

Danielle Intriago finished tied for 70th after shooting a final round 83. The sophomore finished with a total score of 233 to finish 17-over for the event.

Natalie Nelson wrapped up the Bucs' team scoring totals with a final round 84 to finish 83rd in the field. She posted a 28-over par score for the week.

Sarah Hameed was the Bucs' lone individual in the field this week with the freshman placing 88th overall after turning in a final total of 252.
