MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. - Charleston Southern senior Milleina Ohara carded a second round one-over par 73 to lead the Bucs on day one of the Charleston Invitational at RiverTowne Country Club. Ohara is tied for 45th place and CSU sits 16th as a team entering Tuesday's final round.
Coastal Carolina, buoyed by a four-under par first round, holds the team lead at -3 overall. The Chanticleers are eight shots in front of No. 35 Campbell and 15 ahead of No. 47 East Carolina. Georgia Southern's Ella Ofstedahl is the individual leader at -5 following a second round 68. North Florida's Courtney Cobb and Campbell's Ayelen Irizar are two shots off the pace in a tie for second.
Ohara played the back nine at -1 and was -2 for the round before bogeying three of her last five holes. She shot an 80 in the opening round to match Andriel Aimua and Xuss Boira, who was playing as an individual, for the Bucs' best score.
Daniela Intriago (70th) tallied a three-over 75 for a strong afternoon showing. She went out at +1.
Round three is slated to begin with a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m.
