    CHARLESTON, S.C. - Senior Milleina Ohara and the CSU women's golf team wrapped up the season two weeks ago at the Big South Conference Championships at The Patriot at Grand Harbor. The Tokyo, Japan native has been in the United States over the past five years after coming to play golf at a local academy in Charleston.

    NINETY SIX, S.C. - Charleston Southern senior Emelie Flink finished in tenth place to lead the Bucs to a fourth-place showing Saturday at the Big South Conference Championship. Flink’s classmate, Hayley McNeill, was named to the all-conference team for the second straight year in a post-tournament awards ceremony at The Patriot at Grand Harbor.

    NINETY SIX, S.C. - Charleston Southern sits in second place and seniors Emelie Flink and Milleina Ohara are both in the top-ten through two rounds at the Big South Conference Championship. The Bucs shot rounds of +16 304 and +19 307 Friday at The Patriot at Grand Harbor and trail only top-seeded Campbell entering Saturday’s final round.

    CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern competes for an NCAA Regional bid this Friday and Saturday at the 2018 Big South Conference Championship. CSU, the No. 3 seed in the nine-team field, is slated to tee off between 8:50 and 9:30 a.m. Friday, with the second round immediately following. Final round play is set for Saturday at The Patriot at Grand Harbor in Ninety Six, S.C.

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charleston Southern has earned the No. 3 seed in this weekend’s Big South Women’s Golf Championship presented by Musco Sports Lighting. The event will be hosted by Winthrop at The Patriot at Grand Harbor in Ninety Six, S.C. The Bucs receive the No. 3 seed based on their Golfstat ranking of 167, the third highest of the nine league programs.

    CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern opens its spring campaign this Sunday-Tuesday at the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Spring Classic. The 54-hole championship begins Sunday morning at 8:45 a.m., with half of the 42 teams teeing off as part of an afternoon wave scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. The field is billed as the largest in collegiate golf and includes host College of Charleston and three of the Bucs’ Big South Conference rivals.

Flink is from Jonkoping, Sweden where her parents and younger sister still live. “It’s hard being away from her. We’re really close because we’re only two years apart.”
