Josh Snyder joined the CSU women's basketball staff as the Director of Basketball Operations in the summer of 2016. Previously, he served in the same capacity with the CSU men's basketball staff from 2013-15.
Snyder spent the 2015-16 season serving as the varsity assistant at Glenn High School under Coach Monty Gray. During his time at Glenn, he helped lead the team to its first playoff berth in three years. He helped coach two all-conference selections as well as assisted in all facets of the program.
He also served a brief stint as an assistant coach at Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, NC. While there, he assisted in many facets of the program.
A native of Winston-Salem, N.C., and graduate of Mount Tabor High School, Snyder spent the 2011-13 seasons at UNC Wilminton as a graduate assistant manager on Coach Buzz Peterson's staff. He coordinated team travel, assisted with recruiting and played an important role in practice and skill development sessions for the Seahawks.
Snyder previously served as a student manager at ASU from 2007-2010 and worked with all aspects of the Mountaineer program. He helped with film, practice sessions, and equipment, while also assisting with team travel. During his senior year, the Mountaineers garnered a 24 win season, while advancing to the Southern Conference Championship game and the semifinals of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament.
In addition to his coaching experience, Snyder has served on the camp staffs at UNCW, Clemson, Campbell, the College of Charleston, ASU and Team USA Select.
Snyder earned his B.S. Degree in History, Secondary Education from ASU in 2010 and is working to complete his M.A. Degree in Liberal Studies at UNCW.
