CHARLESTON, S.C. - Charleston Southern women's basketball will host three camps this summer Head Coach Fred Applin announced on Thursday morning.
The Bucs will host two one-day Elite Camps with the first date set for June 10. CSU will also offer a second Elite Camp in early August with the date still be set. The Bucs will also host a four-day Youth Camp on June 18-21, and a Team Camp on June 22-24. All camps will be held at the Buccaneer Field House.
The Elite Camp has become one of the best evaluation camps in South Carolina offering instruction by the CSU women's basketball coaching staff and players. Campers learn how to improve their techniques on the court, as well as feature skill development and competitions throughout the day. Instruction will be provided to help campers acquire the skills necessary to succeed at the next level.
The Youth Day Camp is all about teaching the fundamentals of basketball, building enthusiasm for the game, and creating a healthy, active summer activity. CSU women's basketball players will serve as counselors throughout the four-day camp geared toward players ages 6-13.
The Team Camp will conclude the CSU women's basketball camp schedule. All teams will have the opportunity to compete against other High School and AAU Teams. They will have the option to attend a one-day, two-day, or all three days of camp with housing available on campus.
