WBB Preview: Bucs continue homestand Thursday night against Warner

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Charleston Southern continues their four game home stand on Thursday night as the Buccaneers host Warner in a midweek nonconference matchup in the Buc Dome. Tipoff between the Bucs and Royals is set for 7 p.m.

Bucs Against Warner under Fred Applin
Charleston Southern has never played Warner over the past four seasons. This will be the first matchup between the Royals and the Bucs.

November Success
Charleston Southern is home for four of their first six games with the Bucs hosting Paine (Nov. 16), Warner (Nov. 19), Wofford (Nov. 23), Columbia International (Nov. 24) and Winthrop (Dec. 1). Over the past three seasons, CSU is 7-0 at home in the month of November winning by an average margin of 36.1 points (85-48.9) against their opponents at home.

Recapping Paine
Alyssa Mann scored a career-high 25 points to lead four Buccaneers in double-digits as Charleston Southern topped Paine on Monday night in the Buc Dome, 69-62.

Mann scored 15 points in the second period to spark the Bucs (1-1) to a double-digit lead at the half and the senior guard added eight more points in the fourth to hold off the Lions in CSU's 2015-16 home opener.

Monique Maximilien finished with 14 points and nine rebounds. The senior center recorded a career-high seven blocked shots in the game, while leading the Bucs from the free throw line in hitting eight of 11 attempts. Overall, the Bucs went 16-for-25 from the charity stripe.

Last Season Against Non-NCAA Division I Opponents
Charleston Southern went 4-0 against non-NCAA Division I opponents last season season with wins over Trinity Baptist, Clearwater Christian, Montreat and Columbia International.
