Charleston Southern University Athletics

Christen Anderson joined the CSU Athletic Training staff in the summer of 2015. She will be working with the CSU softball team for the 2019-20 season after working with the women's basketball team since 2015.

Prior to coming to Charleston Southern, Anderson spent two years as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Gardner-Webb University where she worked with their Softball and Cheerleading teams.  She graduated with her M.A. in Sport Science and Pedagogy from Gardner-Webb in August 2015.

Anderson graduated from Winthrop University in May 2013 with a B.S. in Athletic Training.  During her undergraduate work, Rentz served as an Athletic Training student working with Winthrop’s Women’s Basketball and Softball teams. She also worked with the athletic departments at both South Pointe and Clover High School, working with a majority of their teams.
