ROCK HILL, S.C. - Charleston Southern's men took home two conference titles on day two of the 2019 Big South Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Ryan Spiecha won the shot put with a throw of 15.75m and Trevor Dominy won the 3K Steeplechase with a time of 9:24.30.

In the day's lone field event, Ryan Spiecha won CSU's first conference title of the meet in the shot put. His throw measured 15.75m to top the second place mark by 0.26m. JP Caglione also scored for the Bucs with a fifth place throw of 14.87m.
Shortly after Spiecha won the Bucs' first title, Trevor Dominy won the team's second. Dominy ran a near-personal best time of 9:24.30 to take the title. Adam Huff's seventh place finish in the event also earned points for the Bucs.
Justin Green and Phillip Finsterwalder both qualified for the 400m finals on Friday with Green having the third best overall time and each runner turning in a personal best. Andrew Akright and Keith Terry qualified for Friday's 800m final as well with Akright running the third fastest time. Joshua Paramore also qualified for the finals in the 100m for Friday.
The Bucs wrap up the Big South Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday beginning with the high jump at 2pm.
