High School: Was an all-state pick as a senior under coach Joe Huff at Goose Creek High School...All-region pick three times...Was Goose Creek field MVP each of final two high school campaigns...Achieved personal bests of 23' in the long jump and 47' 3" in the triple jump.

Personal: Son of Calvin and Monica Davis...Also played high school football and basketball, and tallied 60 tackles during senior season...Plans to major in business administration at CSU...Dad, Calvin, ran track at CSU from 1990-92.
