Simmons was the lone athlete to clear seven meters on the day, achieving the mark on four separate occasions with his final reaching 7.20m to top the event. Davis achieved 6.97m on his sixth attempt to place second in the field. Thomas was ninth with a distance of 6.58m.
Davis added a strong performance in the men's triple jump as the sophomore achieved 14.38m on his sixth attempt to place third in the field.
Jasmin Pilgrim was one of two Buccaneers to cross the finish line in the women's 60m dash as the senior led CSU with a time of 7.95 in the event to place 15th overall. Freshman Kaitlyn Piece was 19th with a time of 8.23.
Pilgrim and Tamara Damjanovic both took on the field in the women's 200m dash with Pilgrim leading the way in 17th with a time of 26.19. Damjanovic was 19th after crossing the line in 27.23.
Alexis Adams and Pierce ran the women's 400m dash with Adams finishing with a sub-minute time after crossing the line in 59.83 to place 12th. Pierce was 18th overall with a time of 1:05.07.
Javenique McDowell, Caroline Edmondson, and Traci Drayton finished one after each other in the women's 800m race. McDowell paced the trio with a time of 2:27.72 to place 12th overall. Edmondson was seven-hundredths of a second behind with a time of 2:27.79, while Drayton crossed in 2:28.00.
Georgina Russell led the Bucs' distance efforts in the women's 3000m race. The senior crossed the line in 10:33.90 to place sixth in the event.
Lydia Frierson led a trio of CSU athletes in the women's 5000m race as the senior completed the race in 19:03.58 to place seventh in the field. Taylor Barnes was one spot back with a time of 19:05.33, while Bethany Thornhill placed 10th with a time of 19:41.16.
Shantel Ardley and Edmondson both recorded top 15 finishes in the women's 60m hurdles. Ardley placed 12th after crossing the line in 9.17, while Edmondson was two spots back with a time of 9.23.
CSU's 4x400m women's 'A' team placed seventh in the field. The quartet of Ardley, Edmondson, Pilgrim, and Adams crossed the line in 4:06.66.
Damjanovic posted clean marks on all six of her long jumps on her way to clearing 5.23m and placing sixth in the field. Victoria Gibson was 11th with a distance of 4.87m.
Gibson cleared her final attempt in the women's triple jump to place 10th in the field with a distance of 10.76m.
Madison McCoy and Milan Williams both achieved clean attempts in the women's shot put. McCoy was 19th in the field with a distance of 10.84m, while Williams placed 21st with a distance of 10.65m.
Williams added a throw of 17.40m to place seventh in the women's hammer throw. McCoy was 19th with a distance of 14.19m, while Alexus Foreman placed 20th with a throw of 12.88m.
Joshua Paramore led three Bucs in the men's 60m dash as the junior crossed the line in 7.06 to place 10th in the field. Niegel Simmons was 17th with a time of 7.17, while Daivon Pressley was 21st with a time of 7.28.
Vincent Johnson and Justin Green finished two spots off each other in the men's 200m dash. Johnson continued his strong season with a time of 22.18 to place ninth in the field, while Green finished 11th after crossing in 22.35.
Green added a 51.16 to place 10th in the men's 400m dash.
Keith Terry paced the Bucs in the men's 500m dash finishing second overall in the field. The junior crossed the line in 1:07.34 for the fifth-fastest time in CSU history.
Andrew Akright recorded a top three finish for the Bucs in the men's mile run. The freshman placed third in the field with a time of 4:17.02 to finish less than two seconds behind East Carolina's Nicholas Ciaccia (4:15.15) for the fourth-fastest time in CSU history.
Fearghal Curtin continued a strong spring season as the freshman placed fifth in the men's 3000m race. Curtin crossed in 8:31.78 to lead the Bucs.
CSU put two teams in the field of the men's 4x400m relay. The 'A' team of Josiah Scarlett, Johnson, Bowers, and Green placed second overall with a time of 3:19.51. The 'B' team was fifth in 3:28.52 behind the efforts of Terry, Damon, Paramore, and Pressley.
Frankie Thomas cleared 1.98m on his first attempt to place second overall in the high jump.
JP Caglione, Wolfe, and Clarence Moss all took on the field in the men's weight throw. Caglione was fourth with a distance of 17.65m, while Wolfe (14.09m) and Moss (13.27m) placed seventh and ninth respectively.
