Reddick wins second straight triple jump event to power Bucs at UNF Spring Break Invite

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Charleston Southern senior E.J. Reddick set a personal best to take a triple jump title for the second straight week in leading the Bucs on day one of the UNF Spring Break Invite.

Reddick jumped 15.31 meters to out-do his effort from last weekend by .02 meters, and best his nearest competitor in the 12-athlete field by .29 meters. The senior is enjoying a terrific start to his final campaign for coach Roosevelt Lofton's squad.

Jared Watkins contributed another strong showing with a 2.00 meter jump in the high jump, good for fourth place.

CSU senior sprinter Kaishon Murray was solid as well in running to top-20 finishes in the 100 and 200-meter dashes. Murray placed 19th in the 100, and was 16th out of 98 in the 200 thanks to a time of 21.74 seconds.

CSU will next head to Gainesville for the Florida Relays from March 31-April 2.
