MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Charleston Southern shot a team-302 (+14) in the final round of the 2015 General Hackler to finish 15th at the event on Tuesday at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club.
The Buccaneers finished five strokes behind Cincinnati and nine behind USC Upstate in the tournament.
North Florida rallied past N.C. State to win the event by 12 over the Wolfpack. UNF was 1-under (287) as a team in Tuesday's final round, 15 strokes better than N.C. State (312), which led by three to start the day.
North Florida's Joey Petronio and Zach Seabolt tied for medalist honors at 212 (-4).
CSU freshman R.J. Keur led the Bucs, tying for 24th at 5-over for the tournament. He had a 2-over 74 on Tuesday.
Freshman Jake Ezell was 79th and junior Nico Baena finished 76th. Ezell's 76 (+4) was his best round of the event.
The Bucs return to action next week at the Southern Intercollegiate (March 16-17) in Athens, Ga.
