Bucs sixth after two rounds at Camden Intercollegiate

CAMDEN, S.C. – Senior Jarrett Swan is tied for seventh and Charleston Southern is sixth in a 15-team field through two rounds of the Camden Intercollegiate. Teams played 36 holes on Saturday at Camden Country Club. 

Wofford leads the tournament at 565 (+5) by seven strokes over host-South Carolina (+12). Radford is third (+13) followed by Furman (+14), South Carolina-Aiken (+17), and CSU. 
The Buccaneers opened with a 291 (+11) and finished strong with a 287 (+7), trailing USC Aiken by one for fifth.  

Swan is the Bucs' low golfer after a 70-71 effort on Saturday. He had three birdies in his second round, an even-par 70.

Sophomore Austin James is 12th at 142, one stroke behind Swan. James had two eagles on the day, including one to go with four birdies in his opening-round 68 (-2). He also had an eagle and three birdies in a wild second-round 74 (+4). 

The Bucs' Jake Ezell played well as an individual, shooting 73-70 and is 3-over par for the event. He is tied for 15th.

Freshman R.J. Keur is tied for 37th after a day of 72-75 (+7), while senior Will Pieper is 50th (+9). Junior Nico Baena is 60th following a 77-74 day (+11).

Wofford's Brannan Hudson leads the event at 10-under par after a 67 and 63. 

The Bucs tee off on Sunday in the final round beginning with tee times at 9:10 a.m.
