SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Charleston Southern junior Ross Thomson finished tied for fifth following a final round 75 (+3) at the 2013 Coca-Cola Wofford Invitational, which wrapped up on Tuesday afternoon at Spartanburg Country Club.
Thomson carried the Bucs through 36 holes on Monday and CSU bounced back with one of Tuesday's better rounds to climb to a 12th-place finish.
East Tennessee State won the tournament by two strokes over host Wofford. Radford finished third ahead of Appalachian State and Elon, which tied for fourth.
The Mountaineers' Caleb Keck took medalist honors with a total of 209 (-7), four stokrs ahead of Thomson.
CSU sophomore Choo Teck Ng bounced back from a rough second round to close with a 1-under 71 and finish in a tie for 40th. He finished with a total of 221 (+5).
Sophomore Jarrett Swan also helped the Bucs jump up a few spots in the final round. He finished tied for 50th with a total of 224 after a 72 (E) on Tuesday.
Fellow-sophomore C.J. Liner shot a 77 in the final round to close tied for 68th.
Sophomore Jason Sauder shot a 79 (+7) in his final round.
