High School: Burton-Reeder comes to Charleston Southern by way of Greenwood High School and Greenwood, S.C. where he lined up at linebacker for head coach Gene Catheart. Burton-Reeder recorded 44 tackles in his senior season with the Eagles and was a member of the 2012 South Carolina State Championship squad. He was also a member of the three-time Upperstate Championship teams in 2010, 2011 and 2012. He also lined up on the GHS baseball team from 2008-2012.
