CHARLOTTE, N.C. (BigSouthSports.com) - Charleston Southern's regular season game at Monmouth will be one of eight Big South contests featured on ESPN3 this season, while the Buccaneers will be live on ESPN+ for five games as the Big South Conference announced the 2018 football television broadcast schedule Wednesday morning.
CSU's home games against Elon, Virginia-Lynchburg, Presbyterian, Kennesaw State, and Gardner-Webb will all be featured on ESPN+. The regular season finale at Campbell will be slated for a network at a later date.
Overall, the Big South Conference 2018 football television broadcast schedule on ESPN3 and ESPN+ will feature at least 33 broadcasts -- eight telecasts on ESPN3 and a minimum of 25 Big South Network productions on ESPN+.
The Big South's ESPN3 "Game of the Week" package begins Saturday, September 29 with defending champion and preseason favorite Kennesaw State hosting Samford at 6 p,m. The schedule continues October 6 as the Owls open the Big South slate at home against Presbyterian, and follows each week through the conclusion of the regular-season on November 17, which will be a "Wild Card" selection determined 14-21 days in advance.

Two non-conference games involving Big South members will appear on ESPN+ this fall -- Kennesaw State at Georgia State on Thursday, August 30 at 7 p.m., and Monmouth at Eastern Michigan on Friday, August 31 at 6:30 p.m. Other out-of-conference games receiving television coverage include Charleston Southern at Florida on September 1 (SEC Network) and Campbell at Coastal Carolina on September 15 (ESPN3).
