CSU has been ranked in the top 25 for 21 consecutive weeks dating back to last season. Saturday's 28-7 win over Kennesaw State, the program's 35th in four years under head coach Jamey Chadwell, gave the Bucs their second straight Big South Conference title and FCS playoff berth. CSU travels to Wofford for a first round game on Saturday at 2 p.m. The Bucs are the only team in STATS' top 15 that is not hosting a playoff game.

CSU's victory over Kennesaw State was its third this year over a ranked foe. The Bucs also defeated then No. 14 Coastal Carolina and then No. 24/25 Liberty. Half of CSU's regular season games came against ranked opponents, including an overtime loss to five-time defending FCS national champion North Dakota State and a setback at then No. 3 (FBS) Florida State.
