Bucs in top ten of both major national polls for fourth straight week

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern is ranked in the top ten of the FCS Coaches Poll and the STATS FCS Poll for the fourth straight week and sixth overall time this year. The Bucs check in at No. 9 in both polls as they prepare for a homecoming matchup against Presbyterian on Saturday at Buccaneer Field.

CSU has now been ranked in the top 25 for 16 straight weeks dating back to last season. No other Big South Conference team has cracked the rankings this year. The Bucs have played a pair of ranked teams at the FCS level in then No. 1 North Dakota State (L, 24-17 – OT) and then No. 14 Coastal Carolina (W, 59-58 – 2 OT).

Saturday's contest will be CSU's first home game since Sept. 3 and first of any kind in three weeks. Kickoff is scheduled for the 6 p.m. and the game will be broadcast live on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app.
