CSU moves to 18th in Coaches' Poll; Highest in School History
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Charleston Southern jumped six spots to No. 18 – the highest ranking in school history - in this week’s FCS Coaches Poll, released on Monday afternoon. The Buccaneers are among the largest movers in the poll, bouncing up to No. 18 after holding the 24th spot last week. CSU beat Charlotte, 36-14, on Saturday to improve to 8-1 overall. This is also the third-straight week the Bucs have been ranked, also a school record.

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern inducted three former student-athletes into its Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday night in a banquet held on the CSU campus. The 2005 Big South Defensive Player of the Year, Jada Ross (Football), former Big South Conference Champion Shawn Hall (Golf), and former PGA Tour professional Jason Caron (Golf) comprise the 2013 class enshrined in the hall in a ceremony emceed by CSU Director of Athletic, Hank Small.

Junior wide receiver Kevin Glears caught touchdown passes of 27 and 13 yards and quarterback Malcolm Dixon ran for 102 yards as the Bucs improved to 2-0 in the Jamey Chadwell era. CSU announces 2013 home football promotional schedule
