The Bucs first got on the board in the third inning with a two-out RBI base hit from Jason Miller.  Next inning, Josh Litchfield hit a solo home run with two outs to increase CSU's lead. Ryan Stoudemire doubled to lead off the fifth inning and later scored on a wild pitch to give the Bucs a 3-0 lead. A sacrifice fly in the sixth inning allowed UNC Asheville to get on the board, but CSU countered with a two-out RBI double from Aaron Miller in the seventh.
