CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) – Charleston Southern's Josh Litchfield received Big South Baseball Player of the Week honors as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Litchfield recorded muti-hit performances in three of Charleston Southern's four games last week, headlined by a 3-for-4 mark with a double and a stolen base in CSU's 2-1 walk-off win to clinch the series win over Winthrop on Sunday. For the three-game set, the outfielder was 6-for-14 (.429) with a pair of doubles and two RBI, as the Buccaneers took two games from the Eagles. Earlier in the week, he finished 2-for-4 with a walk in a non-conference meeting with Davidson.
Campbell redshirt-senior right-hander Allan Winans has been named the Starting Pitcher of the Week
Campbell senior right-hander Wes Noble has been tabbed the Relief Pitcher of the Week
Radford catcher Will Harless has been named the Freshman of the Week.
