High School: Garling signed with the Buccaneers from Lexington, S.C. and Lexington High School where she lined up as a utility player on the field for Head Coach Russell Spires. She also played on the SC Jets 18U travel team under Coach Kimberly Braxton. Garling posted a .429 batting average, a .524 slugging percentage and a .486 on-base percentage during her senior season at Lexington. She was named the Co-Batting Captain in her senior season and earned the Boozer Athlete Award.
Off the field, Garling was a Palmetto Fellows recipient.
Personal: Garling is the daughter of Christina and Jim Garling and plans on pursuing a degree in Computer Science at Charleston Southern.
