May 27, 2010 CSU Softball Continues to Climb in 2010
CHARLESTON, S.C. – The 2010 Charleston Southern softball season marked continued improvement, highlighted by records being broken, 30 wins on the season and a team winning record. The Bucs finished with a final record of 30-28-1 and an 8-10 mark in the Big South, before being eliminated in the conference tournament after a 1-2 record. In just his second year as a Head Coach, Shane Winkler has seemingly changed the culture surrounding the CSU softball program. |

As tough as it is to repeat as CSU Athlete of the Week, it’s just as hard to deny that senior Marky Boyce’s performance this week was one of the best performances in school history. Boyce scored goals in all three games this week, including two game-winners and notched a hat trick in the victory over Jacksonville.
