- Seventh on the Bucs with 141 rushing yards on five carries, averaging 28.2 yards per carry
- Recorded his first collegiate 100-yard rushing effort with 108 yards on four carries and a touchdown in CSU’s September 3 win against Kentucky State
- Season-long 70-yard touchdown run in the Bucs’ win over Kentucky State
- Added a 33-yard carry on September 24 at Monmouth
2015
- Played in ten games at running back, and earned playing time and carries at a spot loaded with competition
- Totaled 195 yards and a touchdown on 39 carries
- Was a spark in the win over ETSU (9/17), running for 50 yards and a touchdown on seven carries
- Factored into the Bucs’ running game in the opening Big South stretch against Monmouth (10/10), Presbyterian (10/17) and Gardner-Webb (10/24), recording 28 or more yards in each game
- Had seven carries for 24 yards in the Big South title clinching win at Kennesaw State (11/7)
- Carried five times for 21 yards at Alabama (11/21)
Prior to CSU: Played the 2014 season at Coffeyville Community College (Kansas), after spending 2013 at first-year program, Charlotte...Rushed for 953 yards and eight touchdowns at Coffeyville...Averaged 6.9 yards per carry at Coffeyville, ranking second in the conference...Started 12 games at Charolotte in 2013 and totaled 636 yards rushing and five touchdowns...Went for 97 yards rushing in a win over Gardner-Webb as a freshman at Charlotte.
High School: Named the Mid-State 2A all-Conference Offensive Player of the Year and was an all-conference choice for the Cavaliers .. Coached by Steve Johnson, Barnwell helped the Cavaliers to a pair of 12-2 records and back-to-back conference championships ... a three-time all-region choice, Barnwell rushed for 1700 yards and 25 TD''s on 198 carries as a senior ... selected all-Conference each season ... Averaged nearly six yards a rush and over 15 yards per reception as Team MVP and Best Running Back as a senior ... all-State 200 meter sprinter in Track who finished 4th in the 200, 5th in the long jump, triple jump and 300 hurdles and 9th in the 400 at the state championship.
