2014: Went 3-3 with a 3.66 ERA over ten outings, four of them starts...Held opponents to a .235 batting average and struck out 26 while walking only seven in 39.1 innings...Did not allow a run in his first three career appearances spanning 15.1 innings, and gave up only one run over first 24.1 innings...Recorded the win in his collegiate debut against Villanova (2/15), logging 4.1 scoreless innings while striking out four and allowing only three hits...Did not factor into the decision but turned in six sparkling shutout innings against Siena (2/22), permitting only three hits...Struck out five and gave up just two hits in working 5.0 innings to earn the win against Holy Cross (3/1)...Threw a complete game gem against Toledo (3/8), permitting just five hits and a run while punching out five...Was sharp in relief in a loss to Savannah State (4/1), striking out two while giving up one hit in three innings...Made final appearance of season on April 5 before missing remainder of campaign due to injury.
High School: Weekley joins the Bucs from local James Island Charter High School...A standout for the Trojans the last three years, Weekley led the team to a Region VII AAAA Championship in 2011 along with a berth in the Lower State District Finals in 2012...Senior season included a 0.81 ERA over 60 innings of work...He struck out 73 to only 11 walks...As a junior, he won four games, saved two more, and posted a 1.50 ERA with 34 strikeouts in 37.1 innings pitched...Over the summer, he guided the North Charleston Dixie Majors squad to a State Championship and a berth in the World Series...He was named All-State and All-Lowcountry as a senior and was his James Island team''s MVP.
