2012: Appeared in 37 games and started 30 (24 – 1B, 5 – 3B, 1 – DH)…became a presence in the middle of the CSU batting order during the Big South season, and finished the year hitting .342 with two home runs, 11 doubles, 14 runs scored and 13 RBI…recorded a .491 slugging percentage and posted a solid .392 on-base percentage…cracked a two-run home run in CSU’s 12-7 win over Rider (3/10)…went 2-for-4 with an RBI double in CSU’s 10-2 rout of UNC Asheville (4/7)…enjoyed stretch of three consecutive two-hit games from 4/13-4/15 (vs. Gardner-Webb), and a streak of four straight from 4/18-4/22 (Presbyterian, Georgia Southern)…went 2-for-5 and drove in a pair of runs in CSU’s victory over Savannah State (4/18)…went 2-for-3 with an RBI double and a run scored in 7-4 win over Presbyterian (4/21)…went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in 6-3 loss to Presbyterian (4/22)…had a banner day in loss to Coastal Carolina (5/18), going 3-for-5 with a homer, a double, three runs scored and 4 RBI…went 1-for-3, walked, and scored two runs in CSU’s Big South Tournament loss to Coastal Carolina (5/22).

High School: Played at White Knoll High School for head coach Jonny Thompson… Hit .460 as a junior with 11 home runs and 52 runs scored as a junior in 2010… Finished his senior season with a batting average of .450 in 2012… Boasted an on-base percentage of .547 and had seven home runs as a senior… Had a fielding percentage of .986… A two-time Golden Glove winner and a state champion at White Knoll… Was twice named to the all-state and all-region teams… Two-time All-RBI Tournament team and All-Academic team honoree… Two-time All-Forest Area Tournament honoree… 2011 Home Run Derby Champion for Forest Acres Tournament.
