CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Charleston Southern women's basketball team returns to action following the Christmas break Monday afternoon, traveling to Athens to face undefeated Georgia inside Stegeman Coliseum. Tipoff between the Buccaneers and the Bulldogs is set for noon and will stream live on SECN+.

Tyonna Bailey delivered a career performance with a game-high 31 points. Charleston Southern shot a season-best 52.2 percent from three-point range in Chapel Hill and outscored the Tar Heels 49-43 in the second half.

Georgia enters the matchup riding a perfect 13-0 start to the season following an 82-55 victory over Coppin State at the 4ThaCulture Classic in Richmond. The Lady Bulldogs have been dominant on both ends of the floor, winning by an average of 28.5 points per game and ranking among the nation's top defensive units.
