The Lancers pushed the lead to 10 with a jump shot at the beginning of the fourth quarter and took a lead by 12 points with 3:40 left. The Bucs tried to fight back, getting a three pointer from
Jordan Berry and a pair of free throws from Jackson to cut it to 56-51 with 1:54 left; however, Charleston Southern was unable to draw within four points, as the Lancers escaped with the victory.
