TALLAHASSEE, FL - The Charleston Southern softball team rounded out the Dugout Club Invitational on Sunday, falling to the Nichols Colonels by a 2-1 score. 
The game was scoreless until the sixth inning, when the Colonels (11-7) broke through with two runs off of Charleston Southern's 
Nealy Lamb. The Bucs (6-9) tried to rally in the top of the seventh inning, as 
Madelyne Lee walked, stole a base and went to third on a 
Charlee Yourman single. 
Emma Villaescusa brought in Lee on an RBI fielder's choice. Runners got to second and third with two outs, but a ground out ended the game. 
Lamb suffered her first defeat of the season to fall to 2-1. She allowed two runs on two hits, three walks and six strikeouts. The Bucs finished the weekend with an 0-5 record. 
On Deck
The Bucs are back at home next weekend, as they host a three-game series with Northern Kentucky. The series begins on Saturday, Mar. 3 with a 1 PM first pitch, while game three will be on Monday, Mar. 5 with a 5 PM first pitch.
