Late Goal by Wofford Results in 1-1 Draw

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The shutout streak was nearly extended to three matches; however, Friday night's match for the Charleston Southern women's soccer team ended in a 1-1 draw against the Wofford Terriers. 

After a scoreless first half, Jessica Boyle scored her first goal of the season at the 56:07 mark to give the Bucs (4-1-2) a 1-0 lead. Abby Angelucci had the assist. 

Then, with under two minutes left in the match, the Bucs surrendered their first goal in nearly 285 minutes and settled for a tie. The scoreless streak dated back to the match against Jacksonville on August 28th.

Jenna Moran had four saves and allowed just the one goal. The Terriers put up nine shots (5 SOG), and the Bucs had 11 shots (2 SOG), including three from Claire Deangelis.
