Return to the road awaits CSU midweek

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern women's basketball stays in state for its next contest, its third road game in the first-four Big South matchups, when it travels up I-26 to Clinton for a 6 p.m. Wednesday ESPN+ tip at Presbyterian.

Opening Tip
• The third road game among its first four in league play awaits the Charleston Southern women's basketball program Wednesday night, as it heads up I-26 to Clinton, South Carolina, for a clash with Presbyterian.
 
• The Buccaneers are coming off a home setback to Campbell Saturday in which they trailed by seven at the half before the Camels used a decisive third quarter to pull away in the second half.
 
• Alyssia Faye led the Bucs with eight points and eight rebounds in 32 minutes against Campbell. She made her only attempt from behind the 3-point arc.
 
• Fellow post Skylar Baltezegar, the Dec. 27 and Jan. 3 Big South Freshman of the Week, also poured in eight points as the two players combined to help the Buccaneers to 16 points in the paint.
 
• Charleston Southern continues to seek its first victory of the 2022 calendar year, as it has lost both Big South contests in the New Year, also dropping a decision Jan. 5 at Gardner-Webb.
