Recapping Last Weekend
The Bucs were swept for the first time since the opening weekend of Big South play when Campbell took all three games of a weekend series over the Bucs in Buies Creek.

Dominique Mannerino led the way for the Bucs at the plate with a pair of multi-hit games against the Camels, while SeaEnna Satcher and Brooklynn Brewington each had one two-hit game against Campbell. Brewington was the only Buc with a hit in all three games of the series, while Mannerino recorded the lone RBI of the weekend for CSU.

Holly Clark and Annah Junge each threw complete games against the Camels, with Clark allowing just two runs in 6.0 innings of work in Sunday's series finale. Junge tossed a career-high 125 pitches in the middle game of the series and tied her season high of three strikeouts in the process.

Season Leaders
Brewington is the Bucs' leader among its regular starters in batting average at .354 and hits with 35. Ashley Meckley leads the team with six doubles, nine homers, 16 extra-base hits and 16 runs batted in while drawing a team-high 19 walks. 16 of Meckley's 24 hits have gone for extra bases and she also leads the team with a .410 on-base percentage.

In the circle, Clark leads the Bucs in ERA at 4.26, strikeouts with 32 and complete games with three. Junge has tossed a team-leading 59.1 innings in the circle for the Bucs. Baylee Eaton has walked a team-low 14 batters in 51.1 innings.

What to Watch For
Charleston Southern leads the Big South in stolen base percentage at 96.9 percent. The Bucs are 32-for-33 on stolen base attempts this season, with Brewington's 12 steals leading the way.

Junge and Clark threw complete games in each of the last two games of the Bucs' weekend series at Campbell. It marked the first time this season that Buccaneer pitchers threw complete games in back-to-back contests.

Despite the Bucs being swept against Campbell, CSU had a lead in two of the three games against the Camels. The Bucs opened the scoring in both the series opener and the series finale.

Scouting Furman
Furman enters Tuesday's games with a 13-20 overall record and a 6-3 mark in SoCon play. The Paladins swept ETSU in their most recent action and still have half of their conference schedule remaining. Furman dropped its most recent midweek games in a doubleheader sweep at South Carolina last week.

Furman has a 1-4 record against common opponents this season. The Paladins split a doubleheader against USC Upstate, lost a single game to Winthrop and were swept by South Carolina in a doubleheader.

Emily Bartlett leads the Paladins with a .343 batting average and is one of four Furman players with an average above .300. Mackense Greico has a team-high seven home runs, 13 extra-base hits and 25 runs batted in.

Sierra Tufts leads Furman in most pitching categories and has a 6-9 record with a 3.69 ERA and 36 strikeouts in 85.1 innings. Bailey Tanner has a 3.88 ERA and four wins in 56.0 innings for the Paladins, while Shelby Basso has a 5.94 ERA, three wins and 31 strikeouts in 68.1 innings. Basso and Tufts have combined to throw 11 complete games between them.

Series Breakdown
This will be the 44th and 45th all-time meetings between the Bucs and Paladins in a series which started during the 1992 season.

Overall, Furman has 29-14 advantage in the all-time series, including a 14-3 lead in games played in Greenville. The Paladins won each of the last two contests between the teams, with both of those taking place during the 2018 season. This will be first time the Bucs have played at Furman since the 2006 season.
