LONGWOOD, FLA. - The Charleston Southern softball team defeated North Carolina A&T for the second time this season to wrap up competition in The Spring Games this Sunday morning.
Annah Junge got the win and improves to 7-4 on the year. Junge struck out ten batters for the second time this year. As a team, the Bucs tallied thirteen hits, including five doubles. The last time Charleston Southern hit five doubles in one game was March 10, 2015 against Youngstown State.

TOP OF THE FIRST
- Brooklynn Brewington led the game off with a double to left field and advanced to third on a wild pitch
- A single from the bat of Rhiana Hubbard plated the Bucs first run'
TOP OF THE SECOND
- Emily Crosby hit a double to left center with no outs
- Meghan Gagliano beat out a throw to first on a bunt to move Crosby to third who then scored on a throwing error on the Aggies
- Brewington recorded her second hit of the game with a single to third to put two runners on base for Sarah Brown
- Brown doubled to right field, scoring two runs and extending her on base streak to 15 games
TOP OF THE FOURTH
- Brewington remained perfect at the plate with a single through the left side
- After advancing to third, Brewington scored on a sacrifice fly from Brown
TOP OF THE SIXTH
- Dominique Mannerino led things off with a double to center field, her second hit of the day but the Bucs couldn't bring her in
TOP OF THE SEVENTH
- Mallory Kasinger led things off with a double to center field
- Koger added another RBI to her resume with a base knock to score Kasinger
- Heather Carver pinch hit for the Bucs and hit a single to right field
- Crosby flew out to center field to score Koger and earn an RBI
The Buccaneers return to action this Saturday as they open Big South play against Longwood at home.
