Buccaneer Tennis adds Noa Boyd to signing class

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern women's tennis coach Anca Dumitrescu announced the addition of Noa Boyd to the incoming signing class Thursday afternoon.

Boyd, a native of Silver Spring, Md., joins Kassandra Di Staulo and Amila Jusufbegovic to give the Bucs three new additions to the 2021-22 roster.

Boyd comes to Charleston Southern currently ranked as the No. 85 player in the United State by Tennis Recruiting and the No. 1 athlete in the state of Maryland. She was also a two-sport athlete running Track & Field for Springbrook High School reaching a #1 rank in the 16's and 18's in the Mid-Atlantic.

Boyd also ran at the state meet two times while on the track & field team, is a member of the Spanish Honor Society and won the Fila Reach Award in 2020.

Her father, David, was a tennis student-athlete from 1984-88 at St. Louis University.
