CSU in 13th through 36 holes at UNF Collegiate

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Charleston Southern is in 13th place following 36 holes of play Monday at the UNF Collegiate. Old Dominion posted an impressive five-under first day total and enjoys a 15-stroke lead entering Tuesday's final round at the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club.

Western Kentucky and Murray State are tied for second play at +10, while Chattanooga sits fourth at +11 in the 17-team field. Dayton State's Jiwon Jeon carded a six-under 66 and followed with three-under 69 to take the 36-hole clubhouse lead at -9. Jeon is six shots ahead of Old Dominion's Katerina Vlasinova and seven in front of two others in the field of 93 players.

CSU, coming off a strong outing at the season-opening Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Spring Classic, struggled on Monday. The Bucs turned in rounds of 313 and 306 and are +43, two strokes back of 12th-place Stetson and 17 shots out of tenth place.

Milleina Ohara (T-38th) is at +8 and was CSU's top player on day one. Ohara tallied an opening round 75. Emelie Flink (T-45th) finished at +10 and was the Bucs' other top competitor for coach Matt Cram-Smith. Flink rebounded from a first round 80 to shoot 74 in the afternoon. She played the back nine at one-under par.

CSU is slated to tee off its final round Tuesday between holes 12 and 14 at 8:30 a.m. The Bucs will play alongside Central Michigan and Cincinnati.
