CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Charleston Southern Buccaneers committed five errors and Coastal Carolina starter Seth Lamando held the Bucs to five hits in a 6-2 CCU win on Friday night at CSU Ballpark. The Bucs fall to 22-31 overall and 11-12 in Big South play. Coastal moves to 34-19 overall and 17-6 in league play. Coastal is locked into the No. 2 seed in next week’s Big South Tournament. CSU is in the tournament field and could be seeded anywhere from sixth to eighth.

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern’s Jaren Sustar ripped a three-run double as part of a five-run Buccaneers’ fourth inning to carry CSU past visiting Coastal Carolina, 7-3, in the opener of a Big South Conference series on Thursday night at CSU Ballpark. The win clinches a spot in next week’s Big South Championship in Lynchburg, Va. and ends a five-game losing streak to the Chanticleers.

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Charleston Southern Buccaneers will honor 10 seniors making their final home appearance this weekend as the Bucs host Big South Conference rival Coastal Carolina in a three-game series at CSU Ballpark. First pitch of Thursday’s series opener is at 6 p.m. Buccaneer seniors John Faircloth (Wake Forest, N.C.), Jaren Sustar (Anderson, S.C.), Ryan Gunther (Goose Creek, S.C.), Kevin Buran (Richmond, Va.), Drew Woodall (Cary, N.C.), Ben Qualkinbush (Central, S.C.), Harrison Wilkins (Easley, S.C.), George Schaefer (Virginia Beach, Va.), Kyle Ward (Georgetown, S.C.) and Daniel Vargas (Boyle Heights, (Calif.) will all put the finishing touches on their home careers at CSU Ballpark this weekend.
