CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Charleston Southern Athletic Department will host its 27th Annual Buc Club Golf Tournament on Monday, May 13, at The Golf Club at Wescott Plantation in Summerville, S.C.
All proceeds from the event go to fund athletic department initiatives at Charleston Southern University. The cost of the tournament is $100 per player or $400 per team.
"Charleston Southern Athletics is looking forward to hosting the 27th Annual Buc Club golf tournament this year," Associate Athletic Director for Development/Tickets Tyler Davis said. "We have used this tournament to continue connecting donors with our athletic program, coaches and administrators. We strive for each tournament to be better than the last as our focus is to continually improve our Division 1 athletic experience. Thanks for being faithful CSU alums, supporters, and friends!"
The "Captain's Choice" tournament begins with a noon check-in and lunch, followed by a 1 p.m. shotgun start.
Sponsorship opportunities are available. Driving range sponsorship is $1,000 and hole sponsors will be $50.00.
Prizes for the tournament include various gifts courtesy of BSN Sports, Stokes Honda North and Dixon Golf. There will be prizes for the top three teams, as well as cash prizes for the Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin contests. There will also be an opportunity to win a car on one of the Par 3 holes with the Hole in One Challenge.
Lunch will be provided by Raising Cane's with dinner courtesy of Willie Jewell's Old School Bar-B-Q.
