Charleston Southern running back Teddy Allen has been named the CSU Student-Athlete of the Week after his performance in the Bucs' 31-21 Homecoming victory over Presbyterian.
Allen rushed for a career-high 153 yards and tied a school- and Big South single-game record with four rushing touchdowns in leading the Buccaneers to a 31-21 come-from-behind win against Presbyterian College. He averaged 7.3 yards per carry and rushed for scores of 63, 6, 2 and 18 yards to help rally the squad from an early 14-0 deficit. Allen’s 153 rushing yards were the sixth-most in a game in school history and the most by a CSU running back since 2005.
