Rebecca Hollstegge earned CSU Student-Athlete of the week honors, after recording her first collegiate hat-trick this past week against Gardner-Webb, as well as scoring against The Citadel for the Lady Bucs women’s soccer team.

Hollstegge, a senior midfielder from Detroit, Mich. scored her first goal of the season on CSU’s first shot attempt of the second half against The Citadel, receiving the pass from Tori Wright inside the box. Her shot deflected off Katchen’s gloves and into the net for the opening goal in the game.

She saved her best effort for the weekend, leading CSU's scoring efforts in the Big South Conference opener with goals in the 34th, 57th and 61st minutes of the game to lead the Buccaneers to the 4-1 victory over the Runnin’ Bulldogs.
